"It is not!" "Is so!" The words echoed down the hallway.

My neighbor walked into the kitchen. "What is going on?" she asked.

"The usual. I think they're fighting over whose turn it is to pick a television program. I can't decide if I should go in and unplug the set or get myself earplugs. They've been at it all afternoon and I'm worn out!"
