Regular time spent in nature-filled environments provides opportunities for children to develop a deep, personal connection to the natural world that can help them call upon their own inner strength; gives beauty to inspire the depth of their actions; courage to follow their own path; hope to trust in the goodness of life; and compassion to forgive others and themselves. In this edition of Wonder, committed educators from across the globe reflect on this idea and offer different perspectives as they respond to the Nature Action Collaborative for ­Children Universal Principle:
