2014 Conference Theme:
Celebrating Pennsylvania's Early Learning Team: Families, Programs and Communities Working Together
The Summit provides an opportunity for over 1,000 professionals and parents across the early learning and school-age spectrum -- child care, Head Start, Early Intervention, Pre-K Counts, and school district -- an opportunity to dialogue and learn while building a stronger early learning community.
The ECE Summit has three goals:
Raise awareness among providers and parents on policy issues at the federal and state level so they can be part of the process that maintains and strengthens the education and care systems that are critical to young children and families.
Provide education and professional development opportunities for parents and professionals in child care, Head Start programs, and school districts that care for and educate young children.
Recognize the tremendous advances Pennsylvania has made in the field of early care and education and inspire others to reach for high quality for our vulnerable and at risk populations.
