The World Forum Giraffe Project
May 18, 2005

"Water, everywhere over the earth, flows to join together. A single natural law controls it. Each human is a member of a community and should work within it." - I Ching

The World Forum Giraffe Project

This year at the World Forum, we have added a new project, inspired by the internationally famous Giraffe Project (www.giraffe.org), whose credo is "Moving people to stick their necks out for the common good."

We have challenged World Forum delegates to stick their necks out to meet new people.  We asked them to meet delegates from countries other than their own and to ask them the following questions

What do the children in your community need most right now?

What moment in your professional life are you proudest of?

What person has inspired you the most in your career?

So we invite you to interview someone in the field of early childhood education that you do not know. Send in their answers to these questions along with the name and address for both yourself and the person you interview to [email protected]. If we include any of your quotes in Exchange magazine on our our web site, we will credit both of you.

Go ahead..stick you neck out.
