Vote for a Better World
March 19, 2014
The longer I live, the more I believe the effects of birth order in our lives.
-Frances Weaver

The United Nations is reaching out to citizens of the world asking them what changes would make the most difference to their worlds.  So far 1.5 million people from 149 countries have cast their votes on "My World. The United Nations Survey for a Better World".  Results will be shared with world leaders in setting the next global development agenda.

While there is a category called "a good education," the survey allows you to use one of your six votes to suggest another priority.  Exchange suggests that you consider adding "access to early childhood education."  People could submit more detailed suggestions or use different wording, but the more people who submit the same words, the more likely this will gain traction.

I appreciate knowing about this survey. However, I entered under "Optional" the phrase "A good early childhood education." I was unable to vote for that item. Does it get recorded somewhere and featured later on? Or was it only for informational purposes? Thanks anyway.

I tried to take the My World Survey and it wouldn't accept the optional comment re: E.C. education, and would not accept my survey unless I checked 6.
