Multi-Site Forum in Amsterdam
March 8, 2006
When you learn, teach. When you get, give.
-Maya Angelou

Leaders from organizations providing early childhood services to over 350,000 families on five continents will meet in Amsterdam to discuss approaches to providing high quality services at the World Forum sponsored "Managing for Quality" Working Forum on October 3-6, 2006. This Forum is designed to address the special challenges confronting non-governmental, non profit, and for profit organizations which provide services to children in multiple locations. Attending this important gathering will be leaders from 50 - 60 early childhood organizations, representing a wide diversity of cultural settings, program philosophies, and business models.

This Working Forum will be highly interactive, allowing participants to learn from a sharing of strategies for dealing with the special challenges facing large organizations such as:

  • Maintaining creativity and spontaneity in a large organization
  • Providing warm, friendly customer service
  • Developing a succession plan
  • Providing effective staff development
  • Structuring the organization
  • Assessing program quality and staff performance
