What a wonderful message...now, the challenge to hold such a duty in our hearts and in our lives.

A delightful note - we currently have a young woman from Germany living with us. Her fondest wish has been to make a particular kind of Christmas cookie, and she had been unable to find exact measurements to translate her recipe into a North American context. Then, lo and behold - you included Nurnberger Lebkuchen in your cookbook! She is thrilled, and we look forward to enjoying this traditional treat once she prepares it from your recipe!

May we each become a beacon for peace in the world of folks whose lives we touch in our own families and communities.
