Empathy vs. Sympathy
September 18, 2015
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
-Mahatma Gandhi

The Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (RSA) produced this video based on a presentation by Dr. Brené Brown who spoke at the RSA on "The Power of Vulnerability."  She talks about the difference between sympathy and empathy and argues that to be truly empathetic you have to be vulnerable by connecting with someone's pain in yourself.
