Coolest Playgrounds in the World
December 16, 2015
The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.
-Kalu Ndukwe Kalu, Nigerian-born American political scientist

Kirsten Haugen sent along this link to the article, "19 of the World's Coolest Playground Designed by Top Architects" along with her comment, "some of this is just eye candy, but things like '10 story slide' and 'macrame rain forest' make me want to get out, travel, and play."

As when we ran the ExchangeEveryDay, Beautiful....but Appropriate?, we invite you to click on the article above, check out these playgrounds; then come back, scroll down, and share your reactions.

I just designed and built a playground in my backyard. While not a coolest playground in the world, it is probably the coolest playground to my grandchildren! Interestingly it contains many elements that are in these playgrounds: a slide, tire-net, elevated area above the ground, and playhouse. Maybe these are universal?

Absolutely fabulous; I'd love to explore them all.

These playgrounds represent engineering and magic rolled into one--who wouldn't want to play?
