Pakistani School in the Park
April 18, 2016
It is my belief that the thing which we should cultivate in our teachers is more the spirit than the mechanical skill of the scientist.
-Maria Montessori

Master Ayub, a firefighter in Islamabad, started a school in a park for children who can't afford to go to school.  Ayub started with one student and today, with the help of friends and former students, is teaching over 200 Muslim and Christian children.

This man is inspiring in so many ways. All children should have access to education and this man has shown that one person can make a difference in many children's lives. I hope he is able to find more support to build his school.

Thank you for the amazing and inspiring video about Master Ayub's School in the Pakistan park!! I was deeply touched with his work and care for the young people for 30 years! We need to see & hear of more good being done in the world; news is 99% disturbing, bad news. I shared this
Exchange email with many people. I so appreciate what you do! Georgia

Thank you so much for this inspirational video. I was struck by his salary allocations: 1/3 for the school, 1/3 for his family, and 1/3 for himself. Huh.... How do I allocate my income?
