Frequently Asked Questions
June 22, 2007
Christmas will always be, as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand.
-Dr. Seuss

How can I find a past issue of ExchangeEveryDay?
If you remember a specific story that you want to find again, or are just curious about stories you may have missed, go to our home page, www.ChildCareExchange.com, and in the center column under the heading ExchangeEveryDay click on "Past Issues". Here you will find a list of over 1,350 past issues of ExchangeEveryDay. Simply click on the title to view a specific story.

Can I reprint an ExchangeEveryDay story in my newsletter?
We invite readers to share ExchangeEveryDay widely. All we ask is that when you reprint a story, you give this credit line: "Reprinted with permission from ExchangeEveryDay. To sign up for a free subscription to this free daily newsbrief, go to www.ChildCareExchange.com."

Can I comment on an ExchangeEveryDay story?
If an ExchangeEveryDay story inspires you, angers you, or intrigues you, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Comment on this article." You can view your comment and the comments of others by going to our home page, www.ChildCareExchange.com, and clicking on the title of the day's ExchangeEveryDay. You may also want to look at the many comments posted on previous ExchangeEveryDay stories by clicking on "Past Issues."

Sometimes my name is dropped from the mailing list. Why?
In today's e-mail world, protecting users from unwanted spam is a high priority of e-mail gatekeepers. So major barriers are placed in front of suspected spam which just as frequently block legitimate messages. Every time that an issue of ExchangeEveryDay is sent out, about 5% - 10% of the messages are blocked by spam filters. If your service provider blocks ExchangeEveryDay three days in a row, our software takes your name off the subscriber list. If you notice that ExchangeEveryDay stops coming, you will need to go back to www.ChildCareExchange.com and sign up again. We apologize for any inconvenience you experience due to this new environment.

Who produces ExchangeEveryDay?
ExchangeEveryDay is a free service of Exchange - the Early Childhood Leaders' Magazine Since 1978. The daily editor is Roger Neugebauer, who eagerly encourages readers to share stories to be included in future issues. Send any ideas to [email protected].
