Call for Presentations for Working Forum on Men

Planning for the first Working Forum on Men in ECE is well underway. We are working to create an event that is diverse, different, and adds a meaningful contribution to the international discussion of male involvement in early childhood education. This conference is for both men and women involved in and committed to these issues. We are now soliciting presentation proposals. See below if you are interested...

Presenter Submission Requirements:

  • Submit an abstract / a brief overview of approximately 200 to 250 words of your proposed presentation.
  • Align your submission to the proposed Working Forum for Men in Early Childhood Education topics noted above
  • Abstract / brief overview to be e-mailed to Bonnie Neugebauer [email protected]

Your proposal must include:

  • Your name
  • Your organisation
  • Your e-mail address
  • The title of your proposed presentation
  • The “session” you suggest it is aligned to (see Sessions noted above)
  • Key points covered in your proposed presentation
  • The abstract / brief overview (200 -250 words only, please)

Session details:
Each session will typically include a session Moderator and 2-3 Presenters to offer differing information, perspectives, and stories pertaining to the session focus.

Registration:
Please note ALL presenters / speakers MUST register for the Working Forum for Men in Early Childhood Education. Registration is now open at www.WorldForumFoundation.org/men. The discounted early bird rate is available through January 7, 2008. Applications for financial assistance are available in the registration area as well.

Please send your presentation proposal as soon as possible and no later than January 30, 2008 to [email protected] if you are interested in presenting at the Working Forum. This will be a community building, provocative, life- and world-changing event. Join us.
