In May, over 200 female and male early childhood professionals will gather in Honolulu for the Working Forum on Men in Early Childhood Education, sponsored by the World Forum Foundation and the Hawaii Association for the Education of Young Children. Presenters from Scotland, Senegal, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Malawi, Ireland, Slovenia, Australia, Kenya, Belgium, Canada and the United States will address issues impacting male involvement in early childhood programs....

Under the direction of the Leadership Team of the Working Group on Men in Early Childhood (the planners of this event), participants in this Forum will develop ongoing strategies for increasing male involvement in early childhood education worldwide.
