Will this conference address attracting the best and the brightest to the field? How do we get quality candidates in the 'education door'?
-Educators must be self promoting in regards to the critical nature of high quality ECE.
-Society must value the education of young children.
-and please remember the limitation of education programs in 'developmentally delayed' states like mine, Arizona.
-And...it all is beginning...the recent articles on NPR about Play do make me hopeful about growing public awareness.

I am also concerned about NAEYC accreditation driving creative people from the field. It is causing great programs heavy stress and self doubt.
