IBM AND BRIGHT HORIZONS
NAMED TO FORTUNE 100
Two sponsors of the World Forum on Early Care and Education, IBM
and Bright Horizons Family Solutions, have been named to the 2003 Fortune magazine
list of the "100 Best Companies to Work For". In announcing
these awards, Fortune (January 20, 2003), described what makes these
companies great...
IBM: "IBM employees have access to 67 day-care centers worldwide (61 in
the US). And since 1984 the company has invested more than $200 million in dependent
care, including child- and elder-care subsidies."
Bright Horizons: "Nation's largest operator of work-site child-care centers
pays 50% above the industry standard. Also: health insurance, long-term disability,
401(k) and $400-a-month child-care subsidy."
