EARLY CHILDHOOD DESIGN
INSTITUTE
The Forum for Early Childhood Organization and Leadership Development and the
White Hutchinson Leisure and Learning Group are sponsoring the "Early Childhood
Facilities Design Institute" in Kansas City, Missouri on June 12-13, 2003.
Topics addressed will include site and building assessment, optimum group and
center size, understanding the design process, the Americans with Disabilities
Act, outdoor site assessment, understanding the steps involved in construction
or renovation, negotiating contracts, and the role of culture in design. Presenters
will be Vicki Stoecklin, Greg Finkle, Mike Turner, and Randy White. For complete
