March Opportunities for New Learning
March 1, 2022
When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.
-Paulo Coelho

Harvard Business Review article on the many benefits of learning new things ends with these words:

"The reasons to continue learning are many, and the weight of the evidence would indicate that lifelong learning isn’t simply an economic imperative but a social, emotional, and physical one as well. We live in an age of abundant opportunity for learning and development. Capturing that opportunity — maintaining our curiosity and intellectual humility — can be one of life’s most rewarding pursuits."

Here are four new learning opportunities in March.

Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference 2022: Nurturing Our Roots and Blooming Together
Virtual on March 3 and 4, In-Person on March 11 and 12, Denver, CO.

Reclaiming Love in Early Childhood Theory and Practice: An Engaging Exchange, with Carol Garboden Murray, Sara Gilliam and Kirsten Haugen on March 8.

Nature Explore is offering two live online workshops:

Addressing Challenging Behaviors: Supporting children’s self-regulation, wellbeing and resilience through powerful connections with nature, on March 10, and

Using Your Outdoor Classroom: A multi-faceted exploration of research-based principles for creating effective, inspiring natural outdoor classrooms, on March 31.
