"Keep good company and ye will be counted one of them." -—Scottish proverb

RESOURCE ON STATE CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE POLICIES

The Children's Defense Fund, always a great source for policy and funding data, has published "A Fragile Foundation: State Child Care Assistance Policies," which provides comprehensive data on child care subsidy policies in every US state, including eligibility criteria, waiting lists, recertification, reimbursement rates, co-payment, and administration policies. This November 2001 publication can be purchased for $12.95 by calling CDF Publications at (202) 662-3652. Alternatively, this publication is also available in full text on the web at http://www.childrensdefense.org/head-resources.htm.
