Declaration of Values for Children

For the past year, a loose affiliation of "Early Childhood Advocates," led by Tom Drummond of North Seattle Community College, has been conversing in order to "define and promote the democratic, participatory, and diverse early education provisions for birth to common school age...." On Worthy Wage Day 2005, a group of about 20 early educators gathered at Pike Market Child Care in Seattle to discuss the "Declaration of Values for Children", which is being crafted by the Early Childhood Advocates.
