Exchange Wants Writers

Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement, and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success.
Brian Adams

Exchange magazine is always looking for new writers with new ideas.  And, we want to help new writers become effective writers.  On our website you will find the article, “Publish Your Writing: Sharing Your Ideas With the Early Childhood Community,” in which Donna Rafanello offers very practical advice on writing for publication.

Rafanello also has much more to offer emerging writers.  She coordinates Exchange’s Mentor Writing Project. Over the course of the past three years, she has offered free online support to over 400 wanna-be writers from 40 states and 14 countries.  About a third of the articles her mentees have shared with her have already ended up in the pages of Exchange. One project participant commented, "I've had a chance to look over your editing and am really impressed by the subtle, yet very effective ways in which you helped make this better — you can edit for me any day!"
