Recipe for Marketing Success

I dream. Sometimes I think that’s the only right thing to do.
Haruki Murakami, Japanese author

The newest resource in the Exchange Bookstore, MarketMate by Julie Wassom, includes this recipe for marketing success:

Preheat operating management ovens to Marketing Mindset
Grease and dust your Situation/Opportunity
Then measure carefully:
    1 part healthy Image
    3 salt-free Target Markets
1 full cup of Competitive Information
Stir until well blended.
Add a full measure of premium brand Message Development
Combine all ingredients into a Communications Plan
Sift together into a frothy Marketing Mix:
Pinch Advertising
Hearty dash Public Relations
Shake or two of Community Involvement
Good measure of Customer Relations
Add to other ingredients and mix until well-defined.
Bake in prepared market container until toothpick Tests clean.
Remove, let cool, then Test again and again.
Frost with Good Results.
Serve with garnish of Positioning and Presentation; savor with Time; preserve what works in a sauce of Enrollment Success.

It’s delicious marketing — make it your piece of cake!!
