Baby Karaoke

It is much more sensible to be an optimist instead of a pessimist, for if one is doomed to disappointment, why experience it in advance?
Amelia Peabody Emerson

In speaking at the International Step by Step Association's very successful conference in Budapest last week, Dr. Frank Oberklaid, Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne, talked about an Australian website for parents and providers called Raising Children Network.  This website has a wealth of print and video resources.  For example check out the article, "How Preschoolers Communicate".

However, Oberklaid said the most popular feature of the site is "Baby Karaoke" which parents can download onto their smartphones and use to sing with their babies "in the car, on holidays, waiting at the dentist, or under the blanket on a rainy day".
