Sharing Feedback with Teachers

In Inspiring Peak Performance, Paula Jorde Bloom shared tips such as these for sharing feedback that a teacher may perceive as critical:

State your feedback respectfully, linking it to the teacher's capacity to grow.
Focus on behavior, not the person's attitude. Let the teacher know how the behavior impacts the children, other staff, or the center's reputation.
Be as descriptive and specific as possible, basing your comments on what you have observed, not hearsay from others.
Focus on the future and describe what you want, not what you don't want.
