Motivated to Move

Getting children moving begins with teachers being committed to moving. This is the message of the last segment in Lesson Three of the Exchange training DVD, Preventing Obesity and Promoting Wellness in Early Childhood Settings. In the segment, Steve Gross, founder of Life Is Good Playmakers, observes, "If I really want children to be more comfortable using their bodies and moving, I need to be more comfortable using my body and moving...It begins with us making a commitment to move."
