Coyle Appointed Director of CCCF

Barbara Coyle has been appointed executive director of the Canadian Child Care Federation.  Ms Coyle has been with CCCF for close to nine years, most recently as senior director, development, marketing and communications. She has over 20 years experience in the corporate and voluntary sectors. Over a year ago, she successfully completed a Masters in Management degree for Voluntary Sector Leaders through McGill University.  According to Gina Gasparrini, President of CCCF, Ms Coyle has a proven track record of exceptional performance as strategic thinker, team builder and champion for healthy child development.

Previous CCCF executive director, Sandra Griffin, has been appointed chief of staff for the federal Minister of Social Development, Ken Dryden (who many sports fans remember as the Hall of Fame goalie for the Montreal Canadiens).

CCCF is a member of the World Forum Alliance and is active in the planning for the 2005 World Forum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  For more information about the CCCF and about the World Forum, go to the new World Forum web site at www.worldforum2005.com.
