Every once in a while we will accidentally get a copy of a note sent from an ExchangeEveryDay reader as they pass on the day's story to friend. One of my favorites closed her note by saying, "You should subscribe to ExchangeEveryDay. Often the messages are pretty lame, but usually they will help you very much." Well, today may be one of the "lame" ones for many of you. To close the year I am sharing my top 12 non-work books of 2004. As many of you know I am a mystery fan, so I will mark (*) the mysteries on this list so you can avoid or zero in on them depending on your predilections.
