Report from Houston

Our subdivision, South Briar Community Association is collecting clothing, shoes, children's items, books, toys, etc. and bringing them to the Astrodome. This will also include a number of our residents opening their homes to people, and other volunteers are willing to do whatever assigned. There are 840 homes here and two trips (caravans) have already taken place with lots more donations and volunteers on the way. I am so grateful all my relatives are safe and accounted for; most have been with me since the evacuation.
