Men's Working Forum Agenda Unveiled

En tu lucha contra el resto del mundo, te aconsejo que te pongas del lado del resto del mundo. (In your battle against the rest of the world, I advise you to join the rest of the world).
Franz Kafka

The Working Forum on Men in Early Childhood Education, set for May 20 - 23, 2008 in Honolulu, Hawaii, is starting to take shape. The Leadership Team of Men in Early Childhood Education has put together a preliminary agenda that addresses topics such as the historical context for men in ECE, research on men in ECE, myths and stereotypes on men in ECE, constraints on achieving success in balancing gender, success stories and proven strategies for improving gender balance. The agenda includes a mix of plenary presentations, discussion groups, targeted workshops, and active curriculum sessions.

To finalize the agenda, the Leadership Team is actively seeking recommendations on presenters, discussion facilitators, and other leaders for the program.
