Are Child Care Fees Declining?

It's a relief to hear the rain. It's the sound of billions of drops, all equal, all equally committed to falling, like a sudden outbreak of democracy.
Alice Oswald

For over a decade Exchange has surveyed fees for early childhood services in North America. The preliminary results from the 2008 survey indicate that fees are rising, but quite possibly at a slower rate than inflation — meaning that fees may actually be slipping backwards. However, we still need many more of you to share your current fees in order to give our results stronger validity. For example, we do not have enough participants from 9 states (Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, and West Virginia) in order to display complete results for those states. Share your data today — confidentially — and view the updated results at www.ChildCareExchange.com.
