Exchange Stimulus Package Winners

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.
Louisa May Alcott

In the March/April 2009 issue of Exchange we encouraged our subscribers to start making change happen at the local level. We unveiled the $10,000 Exchange Stimulus Package whereby Exchange, Kaplan Early Learning Company, Community Playthings, and Teaching Strategies Inc. would award $1,000 in gift certificates to the ten organizations contributing the most creative "make change happen" ideas. We received nearly 150 entries, and our panel of reviewers from all four companies found a great many of them to be worthy — nearly 60% of the entries received votes from the reviewers.

Now we have narrowed the list down to the top 20 entries and its up to you to pick the 10 winners! Click here to read all 20 "Make Change Happen" entries, and vote for your top 10 favorites. Even if you don't intend to vote, you should read these for ideas on what you can do.
