Message to President Obama

This is your opportunity to shape legislation impacting the early childhood field.  In the ExchangeEveryDay on November 6, "Preschools or Prisons," you were invited to participate in a survey about key features of President Obama's new "Preschool for All" initiative.  Over 2,500 ExchangeEveryDay readers from all 50 states completed this survey!  If you have not yet participated in the survey, we invite you to do so this week — before we start preparing a final report.  This report will be delivered by our partner in the project, the Early Care and Education Consortium (ECEC), to the key players in the federal government who will be shaping the implementation guidelines for "Preschool for All." At the same time, the final report will be made available to all ExchangeEveryDay readers and all members of ECEC.
