- Describe the emotion you think you see.
- Make a guess as to where it came from.
"By learning how to empathize with your partner as well as your children, you will teach your toddler and preschooler, through example, how to empathize with others around them. Children who learn to step outside of themselves in order to understand another person's feelings are better able to control their own impulses, thus leading to higher SAT scores years down the road. And children who are able to empathize with playmates make better friends."

Emotional Development is a part of the all round development . Emotional development can fosters Empathy that is helpful to the children.

The Committe for Children has an excellent curriculum for Pre-K through Middle Grades called Second Step. This program teaches empathy, problem solving, and many useful skills that enhance children's ability to work with each other and can improve the way these children later work well in a business or industry environment.

So, the point here is that empathy will.....lead to higher SAT scores down the road???? Someone should be embarrassed.
