If Kids Ran the World
February 16, 2012
You should always learn, with life comes wisdom and with wisdom comes the courage to live your life selflessly. The more you learn about yourself and the experiences surrounding your life the more opportunities you have to make your life better and more fulfilling.
-Amy Candy

The Washington Post has a children's feature, "Kids Post".  Edna Ranck shared the Kids Post story for January 15, 2012, "If Kids Ran the World," with these posts:

This ground-breaking research needs to be shared with ALL educators. Many need to realize that education goes beyond teaching a subject...but empowering our children with life-skills so that they can learn independently, and make sound judgments and life choices. I am finding that students are graduating but they have not matured enough to enter the world...and this all goes back to educating them with the skills they will need to function and progress in society. I applaud Ellen Galinsky's efforts and cannot wait to read her book.
