In the Winter 2023 issue of Exchange, Shannon Pope contributed to Bridging Research to Practice with her article, Provocations to Play for Teachers and Children: Play-Based Learning and Playful Participatory Research. This article features Pope’s journey through a playful research study with educators in her Boston-based school, Stoney Brook School. At the time of her research, Pope was enrolled in the master’s of arts in Innovative Early Childhood Education, an online program co-developed by Boulder Journey School and the University of Colorado Denver.
