Most children in the northern China countryside have wonderful memories of the fun of snowboarding and ice skating on the frozen river in winter. Most of us still remember the excitement of seeing the first snowfall and how beautiful the snow was. Unfortunately, children who grow up in urban areas now have less chance to feel the outdoor winter just because their parents think the “bad weather” in winter is “too cold.” Here we would like to share some lovely stories about children playing outdoors in winter from both northern and southwest of China.
