What Makes You Happy?
January 29, 2009
The talent of success is nothing more than doing what you can do, well.
-Henry W. Longfellow
In a National Public Radio program on how games make people happy, Jane McGonigal from the Institute for the Future outlined four elements that people need to be happy:
  • Satisfying work
  • The experience of being good at something
  • Time spent with people we like
  • The chance to be part of something bigger

From My Side: Being A Child is a beautiful hardcover book celebrating the authors' lifelong travels to countries throughout the world. Over 200 full-color photographs illustrate how children learn from their environment when they are engaged in everyday life activities. Ideal for home and school, educators and parents.
