WORLD FORUM NETWORKING
FUND WINNERS
The Networking Fund of the World Forum on Early Care and Education furthers
the mission of the World Forum to foster an ongoing global exchange of ideas
by supporting international networking projects which develop at the World Forum.
The Networking Fund is sponsored by Pademelon Press in Australia
and supported by the New South Wales Department of Community Services.
The winner of the 2003 Networking Fund grant is the project "Assessment
of services offered to children (0-8) affected and infected by HIV/AIDS in Namibia,"
submitted by Jackie Hayden from Australia and Barnabas Otaala from Namibia.
It is the intention of Barnabas and Jackie to use this initial research
as a springboard for extended studies of HIV services throughout Namibia as
well in surrounding nations. We very excited about the opportunity to
take on this important project.
