Call For Papers for Nepal Journal
November 21, 2003

"True generosity requires more of us than kindly impulse. Above all it requires imagination-the capacity to see people in all their perplexities and needs, and to know how to expend ourselves effectively for them." - I.A.R. Wylie

CALL FOR PAPERS FOR NEPAL JOURNAL

The Journal of Early Childhood Development is Nepal's first and only journal devoted to early years education. The first edition of the Journal  was published in 2002 thought the auspices of the Research Centre for Educational Innovation and Development, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.   The Journal's co-editors  Dr. Kishor Shrestha, Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Dr. Wayne Eastman, College of the North Atlantic, Canada are now soliciting manuscripts for the 2004 edition of the Journal of  ECD.

The Journal of Early Childhood Development is a multidisciplinary journal concerned with child development and early childhood education.  Authors from Nepal and around the world are invited to submit articles and book reviews which reflect both research and practice in child development.  Submissions should appeal to an audience that includes professionals in the field, teachers, and researchers.  Each issue is multidisciplinary in nature; research and practice articles will be balanced.

Articles may be of varying length.  Style should be consistent with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.  Type should be double spaced.  Please include a brief biographical sketch of the author(s).  Articles should be sent to:  [email protected].

The Journal of Early Childhood Development is the direct result of a project between Kishor and Wayne funded by the World Forum Networking Fund in 2002.  For more information about World Forum plans, go to http://mail.ccie.com/go/eed/0050.
